Sphagnum Peat Moss is a lightweight growing-media ingredient used in seed-starting and potting mixes. It helps retain moisture while keeping the growing medium light and easy to work with.

How to Use

Moisten dry Peat Moss before mixing. For general potting media, a practical starting range is approximately 10–30% of the total mix, adjusted according to the plant and drainage requirement.

Peat Moss is not a complete fertilizer. Combine it with an appropriate nutrient source when preparing media for longer-term plant growth.

Important pH Note

Sphagnum Peat Moss is naturally acidic and can lower the pH of a growing medium. Use carefully with plants that prefer neutral or alkaline conditions.
