Improve your garden soil naturally with GREEN GARDENS Vermicompost 10kg. Vermicompost is a nutrient-rich organic soil amendment produced through the natural breakdown of organic material by earthworms.

It adds valuable organic matter to the soil and helps create a healthier growing environment for plant roots. Its fine, earthy texture mixes easily with garden soil, potting media and raised-bed mixes. Regular and moderate use can support better soil structure, aeration, drainage and moisture retention.

The economical 10kg pack is suitable for home gardens, kitchen gardens, larger pots, grow bags, raised beds, lawns, nurseries and seasonal soil preparation.

Uses and Application Instructions

For Pots and Grow Bags

Mix approximately 20–30% vermicompost with garden soil or a suitable potting mix before planting.

Suggested general soil mix:

• 50% garden soil

• 20–30% vermicompost

• Remaining portion cocopeat, leaf compost, sand or another suitable growing medium

Vermicompost should normally be mixed with soil or other growing media rather than used alone.

For Garden Beds and Raised Beds

Apply approximately 1–2 kg per square metre and mix it into the upper soil layer before sowing or transplanting.

For Seedlings and Transplants

Add approximately 10–15% vermicompost to the seedling or transplanting mix.

A small handful may also be mixed into the planting hole, depending on the plant size.

For Established Plants

Apply a thin 1–2 cm layer around the plant as a top dressing.

Keep the vermicompost slightly away from the main stem, mix it gently into the upper soil and water after application.

For Fruit Plants and Trees

Spread an appropriate amount around the root zone beneath the plant canopy. Mix lightly with the topsoil and water thoroughly.

Avoid placing a thick layer directly against the trunk.

For Lawns and Turf

Spread a light, even layer over the lawn and water well. Avoid applying so heavily that the grass becomes completely covered.

For Kitchen Gardens

Mix vermicompost into vegetable beds before sowing or use it as a light top dressing during the growing season.

Recommended Application Frequency

Apply during soil preparation and repeat approximately every 4–8 weeks, depending on the plant type, season, soil condition and growth stage.

Moderate application is generally sufficient. Excessive use is unnecessary.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry and shaded place. Keep the pack properly closed after use and protect it from direct sunlight, excessive moisture and contamination.
