About Cocopeat

Cocopeat, also known as coconut coir pith, is a lightweight growing medium made from processed coconut husk fibre. It helps improve moisture retention while keeping the root zone light and aerated.

How to Use

This pack is ready to use. For general container gardening, mix Cocopeat with soil, compost or Vermicompost according to the drainage and moisture needs of the plant. A common starting range is approximately 20–40% Cocopeat in a mixed growing medium.

For seed starting, Cocopeat can be used as part of a light germination mix. For longer-term plant growth, combine it with an appropriate nutrient source because Cocopeat itself is not a complete fertilizer.

Watering & Care

Keep the growing medium evenly moist but avoid continuous waterlogging. Watering frequency depends on the plant, pot size, weather and other ingredients in the mix.
