Vinca Dwarf Bright Eye is a beautiful compact flowering plant that produces pure white flowers with a bright pink or red eye in the center. This attractive color combination makes it very popular for garden beds, borders, pots, and landscaping.
Vinca is well known for its excellent heat tolerance, drought resistance, and long flowering season. The dwarf variety remains compact and bushy, making it ideal for containers, balcony gardening, terrace gardens, and flower beds.
This plant performs extremely well in Pakistan’s warm climate, especially during the hot summer months when many other flowers struggle.

Seeds can be started in seed trays or directly in pots.
Fill trays with a light seed-starting mix.

Transplant seedlings when they develop 3–4 true leaves.
Spacing:
• Plant to plant: 20–25 cm
• Row to row: 25–30 cm
For container gardening use 6–8 inch pots.
Vinca prefers well-drained soil and does not tolerate waterlogging.

• 40% Garden soil
• 30% Compost
• 20% Cocopeat
• 10% Sand
Soil pH: 6.0 – 7.5
Plants require full sunlight (6–8 hours daily) for best flowering.
Vinca plants are drought tolerant.
• Water 2–3 times per week.
• Allow soil to dry slightly between watering.
• Avoid overwatering.
Feed plants every 15 days.
Recommended fertilizers:
• Vermicompost
• Compost tea
• Liquid seaweed fertilizer
• Balanced flowering fertilizer
• Remove dry flowers to encourage continuous blooming.
• Maintain proper spacing for airflow.
• Avoid excessive watering.
Vinca is generally resistant to pests but sometimes affected by:
• Aphids
• Whiteflies
• Spider mites
Control methods:
• Spray cold-pressed Neem Oil every 7–10 days
• Remove infected leaves if necessary
Plants usually start flowering 6–8 weeks after sowing and continue blooming for many months in warm weather.
