Grey Zucchini is a summer squash botanically known as Cucurbita pepo.
It is a bush-type zucchini producing distinctive grey-green to medium-green fruits, often with lighter mottling or flecking. Fruits are generally short to medium-length, cylindrical and slightly tapered.
The flesh is firm, tender and mild in flavour, making Grey Zucchini suitable for a wide range of fresh and cooked dishes.
Plants begin producing relatively quickly under suitable conditions and can remain productive when fruits are harvested regularly.
For best culinary quality, fruits are usually picked while young and tender, commonly around 15–20 cm long depending on preference.
