Cool temperatures are perfect for germination and healthy growth.
1. Soil Preparation:
Use well-drained, fertile soil, prefferably mixture of 50% Vermicompost and 50% Sandy Soil (Bhall).
2. Sowing Method:
Sprinkle seeds gently over the soil surface.
Do NOT cover seeds too deeply; they need light to germinate.
Lightly press the seeds into the soil.
3. Watering:
Keep the soil moist but not soggy.
Water gently to avoid washing away seeds.
4. Germination:
Germination time: 10 - 20 days.
Provide partial sunlight during germination.
5. Transplanting:
When seedlings reach 3 - 4 inches, transplant them with spacing of 12 - 15 inches.
6. Sunlight Needs:
Prefers full sun to partial shade.
7. Flowering:
Blooms appear in late winter to early spring.
