Grow a spectacular winter display with Antirrhinum – Rainbow Mix, commonly known as Snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus).
This colourful mix produces elegant upright flower spikes in a beautiful range of shades including pink, red, yellow, white, orange, coral and other mixed tones.
Snapdragons are excellent for flower beds, borders, pots, grow bags and cut-flower arrangements. Their tall flowering spikes add height and structure to winter gardens while providing colour over an extended blooming period.

Antirrhinum, commonly called Snapdragon, is recognised for its distinctive flowers arranged closely along upright flowering spikes.

The growing medium should be:
Avoid heavy, compacted or permanently waterlogged soil.
Antirrhinum seeds are extremely small.
Fill a seedling tray or small pot with a fine, moist seed-starting medium.
Scatter the seeds carefully over the surface.
Do not bury the seeds deeply.
Press them gently onto the moist growing medium.
A very light dusting of fine vermiculite may be used, but the seeds should remain close to the surface because light assists germination.
Use:
A fine mist spray
after sowing.
Avoid pouring water directly onto the seeds because the tiny seeds can easily be displaced.
Keep the medium lightly and consistently moist.
Seeds generally germinate within approximately:
10–21 days
under suitable cool growing conditions.
Germination may be slower if temperatures are too high.
Provide:
Avoid permanently wet seed trays, as young seedlings can be susceptible to damping-off.
Once seedlings emerge:
When seedlings develop several true leaves and become strong enough to handle, they can be transplanted.
Transplant seedlings carefully without disturbing the roots excessively.
Plant them at approximately the same depth at which they were growing in the nursery tray.
Water gently after transplanting.
