• Winter Sowing: November, December 

• Best for cool weather, producing bright blooms throughout winter and early spring.

Growing Instructions

Soil Preparation:

• Use fertile, well-drained soil.

• Add 50% vermicompost and 50% sandy soil (Bhall). 

• Ensure slightly acidic to neutral soil pH (6.0 - 7.0).

Sowing Method:

• Sow seeds directly in garden beds, pots, or trays.

• Cover lightly with soil (0.5 - 1 cm).

• Keep soil moist until seeds germinate.

Sunlight:

• Requires full sun to partial shade (4 - 6 hours of sunlight daily).

Watering:

• Water regularly to maintain moist soil, but avoid waterlogging.

Germination:

• Seeds germinate within 7 - 14 days depending on the variety.

Plant Care:

• Thin seedlings to avoid overcrowding.

• Remove old or faded flowers (deadheading) to encourage more blooms.

• Apply balanced fertilizer every 20 - 25 days for healthy growth.
