Grow spectacular Red Hot Poker 'Royal Castle' Hybrids, a striking perennial flowering plant producing tall, torch-like flower spikes in shades of red, orange and yellow.
Also known as Torch Lily, Kniphofia develops attractive clumps of long, strap-like foliage topped with bold upright flower spikes. It is suitable for sunny borders, feature planting, large containers and grow bags.

Red Hot Poker 'Royal Castle' Hybrids is a clump-forming perennial valued for its architectural foliage and tall, colourful flower spikes. Seed-grown plants may naturally vary in shades of red, orange, yellow and intermediate tones.
Once established, plants can develop into larger perennial clumps and return over successive seasons.

Use a loose, fertile and well-draining growing medium.

Sow seeds in seedling trays or small nursery pots containing a light, well-draining medium.
Sow on or very close to the soil surface and cover only very lightly.
Keep the medium consistently moist but not waterlogged and maintain approximately 15–20°C during germination.
Provide bright indirect light and transplant seedlings carefully once they are large enough to handle.
