October–November. In Lahore and other suitable plains, plant once the weather and soil cool down. Soil temperatures of approximately 15–20°C are generally favourable for establishment; avoid waterlogging and high heat.

How to Grow Mozika Potatoes

1. Choose firm, healthy seed tubers with visible eyes. Small tubers can be planted whole; if larger ones are cut, let cut surfaces heal before planting.
2. Use loose, fertile, well-drained soil. In a grow bag, begin with approximately 4–6 inches of potting mix and cover planted tubers with 3–4 inches of soil.
3. Give approximately 6–8 hours of sunlight and water to maintain evenly moist soil without waterlogging.
4. Gradually add soil around growing stems as the plants grow, keeping upper leaves exposed and developing tubers covered.
5. Harvest when the foliage matures and yellows, typically within 90–120 days depending on conditions.
