Provide:
Trellis, fence, netting, pergola, arch or balcony railing
from an early stage.
Guide young stems gently onto the support so the vines can develop into a dense flowering screen.
At planting time, mix:

Light balanced feeding during active growth can support healthy vines and flowering.
Avoid excessive nitrogen fertilizer, as overly rich feeding may encourage heavy leafy growth at the expense of flowers.
