Iberis amara/ Candytuft is a beautiful cool-season flowering plant that produces clusters of pure white, delicate blooms. These compact plants are perfect for borders, edges, pots, and rock gardens. Sowing Season (Pakistan):

• Best Time: November to February

• Performs best in cool temperatures and mild climates.

Growing Instructions:

1. Soil Preparation:

• Use well-drained, loose and fertile soil.

• Add 50% vermicompost and 50% sandy soil (Bhall). 

• Slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0 - 7.0) is ideal.

2. Sowing Method:

• Sow seeds directly in pots or garden beds.

• Sprinkle seeds lightly and cover with a thin layer of soil (0.5 cm).

• Maintain gentle moisture-avoid overwatering.

3. Sunlight:

• Prefers full sun to partial shade.

• At least 4 - 6 hours of sunlight daily.

4. Watering:

• Keep soil slightly moist.

• Do NOT let the soil become waterlogged.

5. Germination:

• Germination usually takes 10 - 15 days in cool weather.

6. Plant Care:

• Thin seedlings to allow proper spacing.

• Avoid heavy nitrogen fertilizers and use balanced fertilizer if needed.

• Flowers last for several weeks through the cool season.
