  • Soil: Use a free-draining blend of 50% Bhalu (sandy soil) and 50% vermicompost; avoid soggy conditions.
  • Planting: Position the pointed end upwards, plant approximately 4–6 inches deep, and allow about 3–4 inches between bulbs in beds.
  • Water: Water lightly after planting and keep the soil slightly moist, never waterlogged.
  • Light: Bright light, with approximately 4–5 hours of gentle winter sunlight where practical.
  • After Blooming: Remove spent flowers but leave foliage until it yellows naturally.
