How to Use in Soil or Potting Mix

Use lightly and mix thoroughly through the growing medium. Because eggshell calcium releases slowly and its effect depends on soil conditions, avoid excessive application.

Compost Use

Eggshell Powder can be mixed into compost to contribute calcium-containing mineral material as the compost matures.

Vinegar Calcium Method

Eggshell Powder can also be reacted with white vinegar to prepare a more soluble calcium extract. Follow a trusted preparation method and dilute appropriately before plant application.

Important Note

Visible fruiting or leaf problems are not always caused by calcium deficiency. Watering, root health, soil pH, salinity and other nutrient imbalances can produce similar symptoms.
