Dutch Iris Bulbs – Mix Colours (Iris × hollandica) produce elegant flowers in purple, blue-violet, yellow and white shades with narrow green foliage. A convenient pack of five Dutch Iris bulbs for planting together in a sunny bed, border or roomy planter. Colours vary naturally; individual bulb colours cannot be guaranteed.

Best Sowing / Planting Season in Pakistan

October–November in Lahore and most of Pakistan's plains. Dutch Iris prefer cool-season planting and usually flower from late winter into spring, depending on local conditions.

Recommended Grow Bags

GREEN GARDENS G-11 or G-12 felt grow bags, or other containers with effective drainage. For group planting, allow 10–15 cm between bulbs.

Recommended Soil

Use loose, fertile, well-drained soil. A little mature compost or vermicompost can improve the mix, but avoid heavy or constantly wet soil.

Growing Instructions

1. Set bulbs with the pointed end upwards, approximately 8–10 cm deep.
2. Leave around 10–15 cm between bulbs.
3. Choose a sunny position, with light afternoon shade if needed in warmer spots.
4. Water after planting; maintain moderate moisture during growth and never allow waterlogging.
5. After flowering, leave the green foliage until it yellows naturally, helping the bulb replenish its reserves.
