Grow clean, fresh green grass at home for dogs with this specially selected seed mixture. The original Royal Seeds formulation is intended for growing fresh plant material that can supplement a dog’s normal diet and support normal intestinal function. Suitable for pots, containers, the ground, and GREEN GARDENS G-12 Grow Bag.

Seed Mix Composition

• Barley (Hordeum vulgare): 50%
• Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne): 30%
• Chicory: 10%
• Batavia Lettuce: 10%

Growing Information

• Best local sowing windows: February–April & August–November
• Ideal temperature: approximately 10–20°C
• Light: Sun to Partial Shade
• Growing method: Pots, containers, grow bags or ground

How to Grow

1. Fill a clean container with a well-draining potting mix.
2. Moisten the mix before sowing.
3. Spread seeds evenly and cover lightly.
4. Water gently and keep the soil consistently moist, not waterlogged.
5. Place in bright natural light, morning sun or partial shade.
6. Allow healthy fresh growth to establish before offering it to your dog.

• Do not use unsuitable pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals on grass intended for your dog.
