Pack Size: 1 Crinum Lily bulb.

Crinum Lily is a long-lived ornamental bulb grown for its elegant, often fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers and attractive strap-like foliage. An excellent choice for warm-climate gardens, large pots and patios in Pakistan.

Best Planting Season

Spring to early summer (February–April) is generally suitable in Pakistan once severe cold has passed. Established bulbs can remain in place for years in suitable conditions.

Key Features

  • Plant type: Perennial flowering bulb
  • Botanical name: Crinum spp.
  • Flowers: Showy, trumpet-shaped; fragrance and colour depend on variety
  • Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade
  • Watering: Moderate; avoid waterlogged soil
  • Suitable for: Garden beds, patios and large containers

Recommended Soil & Grow Bag

Use fertile, well-draining soil enriched with mature compost or vermicompost. Choose a spacious container with drainage holes; GREEN GARDENS G-20 F or larger grow bags may suit established plants, depending on the bulb's mature size.

Planting & Care

  1. Plant the bulb with its neck or upper portion above the soil surface; do not bury the entire neck deeply.
  2. Water after planting, then keep the mix lightly moist while roots establish. Do not allow standing water.
  3. Provide several hours of direct sunlight for best flowering, with some afternoon shade during extreme heat.
  4. Feed lightly with compost or a balanced fertiliser during active growth.
  5. Allow healthy foliage to remain after flowering so the bulb can store energy for the next season.

Note: Flower colour, fragrance, time to bloom and mature size vary among Crinum species and cultivars. Keep bulbs away from children and pets; do not ingest.
