Lemon Basil (Ocimum × citriodorum) is a fragrant, lemon-scented variety of basil known for its refreshing citrus aroma and soft green leaves. It grows fast, produces lush foliage, and is ideal for kitchen gardens, containers, and herbal gardens. In Pakistan, it thrives in both winter and early summer seasons, making it one of the most versatile basil varieties for home growers.
Its flavor is a perfect blend of sweet basil + fresh lemon zest, making it highly popular in herbal teas, salads, chicken dishes, fish recipes, and homemade sauces.
