Desi Green Chilli (7" Long Slim) is a highly productive, aromatic, and spicy desi variety known for its long, slender fruits reaching up to 7 inches in length. This chilli is commonly used in Pakistani cooking due to its strong flavor, heat, and rich aroma. Perfect for home gardeners, kitchen gardens, and small farms, this variety produces consistently and grows well in Pakistan’s climate.

High germination and true-to-type variety
Best time: February – April (Spring)
Secondary time: September – November
Can also be grown indoors in winter and transplanted in spring.
Fill seedling tray or small pots with a well-draining mix (peat moss + compost).
Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep.
Keep soil moist but not wet.
Germination time: 7–14 days.
Transplant seedlings when they reach 4–5 inches in size.
Plant spacing: 18–24 inches apart.
Place in full sun (6–8 hours daily).
Water moderately — avoid waterlogging.
Apply organic fertilizer every 15–20 days (NPK 5-10-10 or compost).
Support plants with a small stake as fruits get long and heavy.
You can harvest chillies green, or let them ripen to red for stronger flavor.
Harvest every 3–4 days to encourage more production.
