4′ O Clock (Mirabilis Jalapa), also known as گلِ عباسی, is a beautiful and fragrant flowering plant that opens its vibrant blooms in the late afternoon, around 4 o’clock — hence the name! This variety produces stunning rose-pink colored flowers that add a delightful touch to your garden or balcony. Perfect for Pakistan’s warm climate, Mirabilis Jalapa is a hardy, low-maintenance plant that blooms continuously from spring to late autumn.
Benefits:
Ideal for home gardens, borders, and pots.
Fragrant blooms attract butterflies and pollinators.
Drought-tolerant and easy to grow in Pakistan’s weather.
Long blooming period with colorful evening flowers.
Sowing Time:
Best time to sow is February to April and August to October in Pakistan.

Soak the seeds in water for 4–6 hours before sowing to speed up germination.

Keep a spacing of 12–18 inches between plants for healthy growth.
Sunlight:
Plant in a sunny to partially shaded area — at least 4–6 hours of sunlight daily.
Watering:
Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Let the soil dry slightly between watering sessions.
Germination Time:
Seeds usually germinate within 7–14 days in warm conditions.

Remove faded flowers to encourage continuous blooming.
