Sowing Seasons:

The best sowing seasons for zucchini in Pakistan are the spring season from February to April (in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan) or March to May (in KPK, Northern Areas) and the monsoon season from July to August (in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan)

Growing Instructions:

1. Soil Preparation

• Use well-drained, fertile soil.

• Add 50% vermicompost and 50% sandy soil (Bhall). 

• Ideal pH: 6.0 - 7.5

2. Sowing Method

• Sow seeds directly into the soil or large pots

• Plant seeds 1–1.5 cm deep

• Keep 2–3 feet spacing between plants (they grow wide)

3. Watering

• Water regularly but avoid waterlogging

• Keep soil moist, not soggy

• Water at the base to prevent fungal issues

4. Sunlight

• Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily)

• Best production in warm, sunny areas

5. Harvesting

• Ready to harvest in 40 - 60 days

• Pick when fruits are 15–20 cm long

• Frequent harvesting encourages more production
