Golden Ball Turnip is a fast-growing cool-season crop, ideal for home gardens. It forms uniform, globe-shaped bulbs and lush green tops that can also be used as leafy greens.
1. Soil:
Loose, fertile, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Avoid heavy clay.
2. Sowing Time:
Best sown from September to February in most parts of Pakistan.
3. Sowing Method:
Sow seeds ¼–½ inch (0.5–1.2 cm) deep in rows.
Maintain 4–6 inches spacing between plants.
Keep rows about 12 inches apart.
4. Watering:
Keep soil evenly moist — consistent watering ensures tender, sweet roots.
