1. Soil:
Fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Maintain soil pH between 6.0–7.0.
2. Sowing Time:
Best sown from January to September, depending on local temperature.
3. Sowing Method:
Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep in seed trays or nursery beds.
Keep soil moist until germination.
Transplant seedlings after 25–30 days when 5–6 inches tall.
Space plants 18–24 inches apart in rows about 3 feet apart.
4. Watering:
Regular deep watering is essential, especially during flowering and fruiting. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent disease.
5. Sunlight:
Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).

Seeds germinate in 6–10 days under warm conditions (20–28°C).
