Sweet Pepper Ora Long is a high-quality variety that produces long, pointed, yellow sweet peppers with a crisp texture and mild, sweet flavor. The fruits mature from green to bright yellow and are perfect for salads, stir-fries, stuffing, grilling, and fresh use.
This variety performs very well in Pakistan’s climate and can be grown successfully in pots, containers, kitchen gardens, and open fields. It is easy to cultivate from seed and offers high yield with proper care.

1. Sunlight
Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily) for healthy growth and good fruiting.
2. Soil
Well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter
Ideal pH range: 6.0 – 7.0
3. Seed Preparation
Soak seeds in clean water for 6–8 hours before sowing to improve germination.
4. Sowing Method
Sow seeds in seed trays or small pots
Plant seeds 0.5–1 cm deep
Keep soil moist during germination
Germination occurs within 7–14 days
5. Transplanting
Transplant seedlings when they have 4–5 true leaves
Maintain 40–50 cm spacing between plants
6. Watering
Water regularly, keeping soil evenly moist
Avoid water stress during flowering and fruit development
7. Fertilizer
Mix compost or well-rotted manure into soil before planting
Apply balanced fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) every 2–3 weeks
Extra potassium helps improve fruit size and color
8. Harvesting & Care
Fruits are ready to harvest 60–75 days after transplanting
Harvest regularly to encourage continuous fruiting
Watch for aphids and whiteflies; control with neem oil if required
