Taiyo is a world-famous Japanese sunflower variety known for its exceptionally large, uniform and bright golden-yellow flower heads with a deep brown to black center. The plants are tall, vigorous, and strong-stemmed, making them highly suitable for home gardens, commercial flower farming, landscaping, and cut-flower arrangements. Due to its upright growth and straight stems, Taiyo sunflower is also widely used for bouquet making and floral decorations.
This variety is fast growing, heat tolerant, and performs very well in the climatic conditions of Pakistan. It attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, helping to improve overall garden productivity. Taiyo sunflowers create a stunning visual impact when planted in rows, borders, or as a background plant in vegetable and flower gardens.
