Red Ball Chilli is a high-yielding, winter vegetable variety known for its small, round, bright red fruits. It has a moderate heat level and excellent flavor, making it perfect for cooking, pickling, and sauces. This hardy variety is disease-resistant, early-maturing, and ideal for home gardens, balconies, and small-scale farming. It produces uniform, attractive fruits throughout the winter season.

1. Soil Preparation:
Use fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter.
Add compost or decomposed manure to enhance growth and fruit quality.
Ideal soil pH: 6.0 - 7.0.
2. Sowing Method:
Sow seeds in nursery trays, pots, or small containers.
Cover lightly with 0.5 cm of soil.
Keep the soil consistently moist until germination.
Seeds germinate in 10 - 15 days under proper conditions.
3. Transplanting:
Transplant seedlings after 4 - 6 weeks, when 4–5 true leaves appear.
Maintain 30 - 40 cm spacing between plants.
Choose sunny locations for maximum fruit production.
4. Watering:
Water moderately to keep soil slightly moist.
Avoid waterlogging to prevent root diseases.
5. Fertilization:
Apply balanced NPK fertilizer after 20 days of transplanting.
Repeat light fertilization every 15 - 20 days to support flowering and fruiting.
6. Harvesting:
Fruits are ready when fully red and firm.
Harvest usually occurs in 70–90 days depending on growing conditions.
