Breadseed Poppy, is a beautiful winter-flowering plant that produces elegant pure white blooms with soft, delicate petals. Thrives in cool winter temperatures and open sunny areas.
Use well-draining, light soil, preferably sandy or loamy.
Add 50% vermicompost and 50% sandy soil (Bhall).
Ideal pH: 6.0 - 7.5
Direct sow seeds into the garden or pots (poppies do not transplant well).
Scatter seeds on the soil surface and press gently - do not bury deeply.
Cover with a very thin layer of soil or fine sand.
Keep soil lightly moist.
Germination usually takes 10 - 20 days.
Best germination temperature: 10 - 18°C.

Water lightly; poppies prefer slightly dry soil once established.
