Growing Instructions:

1. Soil:
Well-drained, fertile loamy soil enriched with compost or organic matter. pH 6.0–7.0.

2. Sowing Time (Pakistan):

• Spring–Summer Crop: January to April

• Autumn Crop: July to September (in warm areas)

3. Sowing Method:

• Sow seeds ¼ inch (0.5 cm) deep in seed trays or pots.

• Transplant seedlings after 4–5 weeks when 5–6 inches tall.

• Space plants 18 inches apart, rows 2.5 feet apart.

4. Watering:
Water moderately and keep soil moist but not soggy. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

5. Sunlight:
Needs full sun (6–8 hours daily) for maximum fruiting.

6. Germination Time:
8–12 days under warm conditions (25–30°C).

7. Harvesting:
