1. Soil:
Well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. Ideal pH: 6.0–7.0.
2. Sowing Time (Pakistan):
Best grown from October to March in the cool season.
3. Sowing Method:
Soak seeds in water for 12–24 hours before sowing to improve germination.
Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in moist soil.
Space plants 6–8 inches apart in rows 10–12 inches apart.
4. Watering:
Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy.
5. Sunlight:
Prefers full to partial sunlight (4–6 hours daily).
6. Germination Time:
Seeds take 14–21 days to germinate — be patient.
7. Harvesting:
Ready to harvest in 70–80 days after sowing.
