Morning Glory Convolvulus minor tricolour is a beautiful, compact and bushy summer annual known for its eye-catching tricolour flowers, usually displaying shades of blue, white, and yellow. Unlike climbing morning glories, this variety grows as a low, spreading plant, making it perfect for borders, flower beds, pots, window boxes, and ground cover.
It flowers profusely during the summer season and is very well suited to Pakistan’s warm climate.

1. Sunlight
Grow in full sun for strong plants and abundant blooms.
2. Soil
Light, well-drained soil enriched with organic compost.
Preferred soil pH: 6.0 – 7.5.
3. Seed Preparation
Soak seeds in water for 4–6 hours before sowing to improve germination.
4. Sowing Method
Best sown directly in the ground or pots.
Sowing depth: 0.5–1 cm
Plant spacing: 20–25 cm
Germination time: 7–14 days in warm conditions.
5. Watering
Water gently after sowing.
Keep soil slightly moist during germination.
Once established, water 2–3 times per week; avoid waterlogging.
6. Fertilizer
Mix well-rotted compost at planting time.
Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 3–4 weeks during the growing season.
7. Flowering & Care
Flowers appear 5–7 weeks after sowing.
Remove faded blooms to promote continuous flowering.
Generally resistant to pests and diseases; neem oil can be used if needed.
