Morning Glory Crimson Rambler is a vigorous, fast-growing climbing annual vine that produces an abundance of bright crimson-red, trumpet-shaped flowers. The rich red color creates a bold and eye-catching display, making it perfect for covering fences, walls, trellises, pergolas, and arches.
This variety blooms early in the morning and continues flowering throughout the summer. It is well suited to Pakistan’s warm climate and is very easy to grow from seed.

  • Hot Climate Areas: February – April

  • Cold Climate Areas: April – July


🌿 Growing Instructions

1. Sunlight

  • Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily) for strong growth and heavy flowering.

2. Soil

  • Well-drained, fertile soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Recommended soil mis is 50% Vermicompost, 50% Bhaloo Mitti. 

  • Ideal pH: 6.0 – 7.5.

3. Seed Preparation

  • Soak seeds in water for 8–12 hours before sowing to improve germination.

4. Sowing Method

  • Sow directly in the ground or in large containers.

  • Depth: 1–1.5 cm

  • Spacing: 30–45 cm

  • Germination: 7–10 days under warm conditions.

5. Watering

  • Water lightly after sowing.

  • Keep soil slightly moist until seedlings are established.

  • Afterwards, water 2–3 times per week, more often during extreme heat.

6. Support

  • Provide strong support such as trellis, net, fence, or bamboo stakes for climbing.

7. Fertilizer

  • Mix well-rotted compost or farmyard manure before planting.

  • Apply a balanced fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) every 3–4 weeks.

  • Avoid excessive nitrogen to ensure better flowering.

8. Flowering & Care

  • Flowering starts in about 4–6 weeks after sowing.

  • Remove old flowers and weak shoots to encourage continuous blooming.

  • Control aphids and mites with neem oil or mild insecticidal soap if needed.

  • Excellent for fences, walls, pergolas, arches, balconies, and vertical gardens.

  • Adds a strong red color theme and attracts butterflies and pollinators.
