Very good quality of seeds already germinated
Approx. 100 Seeds per pack.
Grow fresh mint (Pudina) at home from seeds and enjoy a lush, aromatic herb in your kitchen garden, pots, containers, or grow bags. Mint is one of the most popular culinary herbs and can be harvested regularly once the plants are well established.
Mint prefers a bright location with good light, fertile and well-drained soil, and consistent moisture. It is suitable for home gardens, balconies, terraces, raised beds, and container gardening.
Best Sowing Time in the Plains of Pakistan:
February–March and October–November
Germination Time:
Approximately 25–30 days under suitable growing conditions.
Suitable For:
Pots, grow bags, kitchen gardens, raised beds and home herb gardens.
Harvest:
Young leaves and tender shoots can be harvested once the plants have developed sufficiently. Regular light harvesting can encourage fresh growth.
Germination and plant growth may vary according to temperature, seed quality, soil condition, moisture, sowing depth and local growing environment.
Sowing Season:
For the plains of Pakistan, mint seeds are best sown during February–March and October–November.
1. Prepare the Growing Medium
Use a light, fertile and well-draining growing medium. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soil.
2. Sow the Seeds
Mint seeds are small. Scatter them lightly over the surface of moist growing medium and cover them with only a very thin layer of fine soil or growing medium.
3. Water Carefully
Water gently using a fine spray so the small seeds are not displaced. Keep the growing medium evenly moist but not waterlogged.
4. Placement
Keep the seed tray or container in a bright location. Protect newly sown seeds from harsh afternoon sun and excessive drying.
5. Germination
Germination normally takes approximately 25–30 days under suitable conditions. Maintain consistent moisture during this period.
6. After Germination
Once seedlings are established and strong enough to handle, thin or transplant them carefully into pots, grow bags or garden beds.
7. Regular Care
Keep the soil moderately moist and provide adequate light. Once established, occasional trimming and harvesting will help maintain compact, fresh growth.
