Holy Basil (Tulsi / تُلسی) is a sacred and aromatic herb widely grown for its medicinal, spiritual, and culinary uses. Known as the “Queen of Herbs,” Tulsi has a rich fragrance and produces small green leaves with a slightly spicy, clove-like flavor.
In traditional medicine, Tulsi is valued for its immunity-boosting, stress-relieving, and antibacterial properties. It’s also perfect for making herbal tea (Tulsi chai) and as a natural mosquito repellent.
Tulsi is an easy-to-grow perennial herb that thrives in pots, kitchen gardens, or outdoor beds — ideal for Pakistan’s climate.
