Add a burst of fiery color to your garden with our Gaillardia Single Mix. Known as the "Blanket Flower," these hardy, daisy-like blooms feature stunning bi-color petals in shades of sunset red, brilliant orange, and golden yellow.
Perfect for the Pakistani climate, these flowers are famous for their ability to thrive in intense heat and poor soil while attracting butterflies and bees all summer long.
Vibrant Blooms: Classic single-petal flowers with rich, dark centers.
Heat & Drought Tolerant: Specifically suited for Pakistani summers.
Low Maintenance: Thrives in average soil with minimal watering.
Pollinator Friendly: A favorite for honeybees and butterflies.
Height: 12–24 inches (Ideal for borders and pots).
Sowing Season:
Spring: February to April (for Summer/Monsoon blooms).
Autumn: September to November (for Spring blooms in plains).
Soil Requirements: Gaillardia prefers well-drained, sandy, or average soil. Avoid heavy clay or overly fertile soil, as this can lead to more leaves and fewer flowers.
Sowing Method:
Light is Key: Press seeds gently into the soil surface. Do not cover them deeply, as they need light to germinate.
Moisture: Keep the soil misted and moist (not soggy) until sprouts appear.
Germination: Expect seedlings in 7–14 days.
Placement & Care:
Sunlight: Requires Full Sun (at least 6–8 hours daily).
Spacing: Plant 10–12 inches apart to allow for bushy growth.
Watering: Once established, water only when the top inch of soil feels dry.
Deadheading: For continuous blooming, pinch off faded flowers. This encourages the plant to produce new buds throughout the season.
