Break the garlic bulb into individual cloves (do not peel).
Plant each clove 1–2 inches deep, pointed side upward.
Maintain 4–6 inches spacing between cloves and 1 foot between rows.
Keep soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering. Reduce watering as bulbs mature.
Place in full sun for at least 6–8 hours daily.
Ready for harvest in 120–150 days, when the leaves start to dry and fall over. Cure bulbs in shade for 7–10 days before storage.
