Bring elegance and fragrance to your garden with Daffodils (Paper White) — known in Urdu as گلِ نرگس (Gul-e-Nargis). These graceful bulbs produce clusters of pure white, star-shaped blooms with a delightful scent, symbolizing purity, hope, and new beginnings.
Perfect for pots, borders, or indoor decoration, Paper White daffodils thrive in Pakistan’s mild winter climate. Their bright green stems and snowy white flowers add freshness to any garden or balcony during the cool season.
1. Best Planting Time:
October to December is ideal for planting.
2. Soil Preparation:
Use well-draining soil (1 part garden soil + 1 part river sand + 1 part compost).
Ensure the soil is loose and rich in organic matter.
3. Planting Method:
Plant bulbs 3–4 inches deep, pointed end facing up.
Space bulbs 3–4 inches apart.
Water thoroughly after planting.
4. Sunlight & Watering:
Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade.
Watering: Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering once blooming ends.
5. Care Tips:
Blooming time: Late winter to early spring (December–February).
Remove faded flowers, but let leaves die back naturally to nourish the bulb for next year.
After flowering, bulbs can be left in the ground or stored in a cool, dry place.
