The Calendula Ball (Calendula officinalis), also known as Pot Marigold, is a bright, sun-loving annual plant admired for its brilliant orange and yellow blooms. Renowned for its medicinal and skincare properties, Calendula adds both beauty and purpose to your garden.
In Pakistan’s mild winter climate, Calendula thrives easily, producing continuous flowers from November to April. It’s perfect for flower beds, borders, and pots, and attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies. Known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties, its petals are often used in herbal teas, creams, and oils.
Best sowing period: October to February.
Ideal for Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan regions.
Prefers well-draining, fertile soil rich in compost.
Ideal mix: Garden soil + compost + sand (2:1:1).
Avoid overly wet or clay-heavy soil.
Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).
