Add vibrant tropical foliage to shaded garden spaces with Caladium Single Bulb – Mix. Caladium is valued for its attractive heart-shaped leaves, which may develop in beautiful shades of pink, red, green, white, or mixed patterns.
Each pack contains one Caladium bulb. The bulb will be supplied in a random colour variety without any colour choice. Leaf colour, size, and pattern may vary naturally from plant to plant.
Caladium is suitable for pots, grow bags, patios, balconies, shaded garden beds, and decorative container displays. It performs best in warm weather, bright shade, filtered sunlight, and well-draining soil.

1. Recommended Growing Container
Use either:
11 × 10 inch Grow Bag
12 × 12 inch Grow Bag
One bulb can be planted comfortably in either size. Ensure the container has proper drainage holes.
Prepare the growing medium using:
50% Bhalu Mitti
50% Vermicompost
Mix both ingredients thoroughly. The soil should remain loose, fertile, and well-draining. Avoid using compact or waterlogged soil because excessive moisture may damage the bulb.
The bulb should feel reasonably firm. Remove only loose, completely dried material from the surface.
Do not plant bulbs that are:
Soft and mushy
Bad-smelling
Severely mouldy
Wet and rotting
A dry and rough outer surface is generally normal for dormant Caladium bulbs.
Plant the bulb with the rough, uneven side containing visible eyes or growing points facing upward.
The smoother or flatter side should face downward. When the correct side is difficult to identify, plant the bulb sideways rather than upside down.
Make a planting hole approximately 1.5 to 2 inches deep.
Place the bulb in the hole with the growing points facing upward and cover it lightly with soil. Do not bury it too deeply.
Water lightly after planting to settle the soil.
After that:
Keep the soil slightly moist
Do not keep it continuously wet
Water again when the upper soil begins to feel slightly dry
Avoid standing water in the grow bag or pot
Overwatering before sprouting is one of the main causes of bulb rot.
Place the container in:
Bright shade
Filtered sunlight
Gentle morning sunlight
Protect the plant from harsh afternoon sunlight, especially during very hot weather. Strong direct sun may scorch the colourful leaves.
Caladium prefers warm growing conditions. Sprouting may normally take around 2 to 6 weeks, depending on temperature, bulb condition, moisture, and planting depth.
Do not disturb the soil repeatedly while waiting for growth.
Once shoots appear:
Continue moderate watering
Keep the soil moist but not soggy
Protect the plant from intense heat and strong afternoon sun
Remove damaged or completely dried leaves when necessary
Maintain good air circulation around the plant
Caladium may naturally enter dormancy when temperatures fall or at the end of its growing season. Leaves may gradually turn yellow and dry.
During dormancy:
Reduce watering
Allow the soil to become comparatively dry
Keep the bulb protected from excessive moisture and cold
New growth may return when warm conditions become suitable again
This product contains one randomly selected Caladium bulb. The final leaf colour and pattern cannot be guaranteed or selected in advance. Actual growth, colour intensity, leaf size, and sprouting time may vary according to bulb condition, temperature, light, soil, watering, and local growing conditions.
