For better germination, sow when the temperature is approximately 20°C to 30°C.
Soak the seeds in normal water for around 8 to 12 hours before sowing. Sow each seed approximately ½ to 1 inch deep in soft, fertile and well-draining soil.
Keep the soil lightly moist, but avoid waterlogging. Seeds commonly germinate within approximately 7 to 21 days, depending on temperature, moisture, soil conditions and seed quality.
Provide the plant with:
Around 5 to 7 hours of direct sunlight
A trellis, bamboo frame, wire or other climbing support
Regular but moderate watering
Good drainage and airflow
Vermicompost or balanced plant nutrition in moderate quantity
For container growing, a 12-inch pot or 12 × 12-inch grow bag is suitable. A larger container may support stronger root development and more vigorous growth.
This is a mixed-colour seed pack. The number of plants producing each flower colour may vary naturally. Germination, growth and flowering depend on temperature, moisture, sunlight, soil quality and correct gardening practices.
