Bring a splash of brilliant yellow colour to your winter garden with Alyssum Yellow Seeds.
Yellow Alyssum develops into a compact, spreading flowering plant covered with clusters of small yellow blooms. Its low-growing habit makes it particularly attractive along pathways, at the front of flower beds, around rocks, and in containers.
When grown in suitable winter conditions, established plants can produce a dense floral display that adds colour and texture to balconies, terraces and home gardens.

For hot plains and warmer climates of Pakistan, sow during:
November–December
Avoid very hot weather, as Alyssum performs best under cooler growing conditions.
Use a light, fertile and well-draining seed-starting mixture.
A suitable mixture may contain:
Cocopeat or fine garden soil
Well-decomposed compost or vermicompost
Sand or another drainage-improving material
The growing medium should remain moist but should never stay waterlogged.
Alyssum seeds are small.
Spread the seeds gently over the surface of moist growing medium.
Press them lightly into the surface.
Cover only with a very thin layer of fine growing medium.
Do not bury the seeds deeply.
After sowing, water gently with a fine mist or gentle shower.
Keep the growing medium consistently slightly moist during germination.
Avoid heavy watering because it can displace the tiny seeds.
Keep the seed tray or pot in a bright location.
After seedlings become established, gradually provide good sunlight.
Mature plants generally flower best with plenty of sunlight during the cooler months.
Once seedlings develop several true leaves:
Remove weak or overcrowded seedlings.
Maintain adequate spacing.
Transplant carefully if seedlings were started in a nursery tray.
Avoid damaging the young roots during transplantation.
For container growing, use a pot with proper drainage holes.
Several plants can be grown together in a wider container to create a fuller flowering display, while maintaining enough space for healthy airflow and growth.
Mix well-decomposed compost or vermicompost into the growing medium before planting.
Once plants are established, light balanced feeding may be provided according to plant condition and the fertilizer being used.
Avoid excessive nitrogen because it may encourage leafy growth at the expense of flowering.
Remove old or faded flowers when practical to keep plants tidy and encourage continued growth.
Maintain moderate watering and avoid continuously wet soil.
Sow during cool weather.
Do not bury the tiny seeds deeply.
Keep the soil moist during germination.
Avoid waterlogging.
Provide good sunlight after establishment.
Ensure adequate drainage and airflow.
Protect young seedlings from excessive rain and strong irrigation.
Flowering and growth can vary according to temperature, sunlight, soil, watering and local growing conditions.
