DESCRIPTION
Balloon vine also known as Heart Seeds is an annual climber with lovely heart-shaped leaves. It owes its name to its green to brown fruits that resemble balloons.

It produces black round seeds with visible white heart on the seeds.

APPLICATION
In homeopathy, the balloon vine is often used to treat inflammatory and itchy skin conditions. Its extract is used in salves and lotions with an effect similar to cortisone.

EFFECT
Balloon vine extract is very well tolerated even by sensitive skin and can achieve great results in cosmetics. It moisturizes the skin, relieves irritation and soothes itchy, reddened skin.

SOWING GUIDE

Balloon Vine seeds should be soaked in water for two hours before sowing.

Sow seeds one inch deep in well draining soil in full sun to partial shade.

Can be sown all summer.
